More health workers sent to Vĩnh Phúc to fight COVID-19

VĨNH PHÚC — More than  一 六0 health workers have been sent to Bình Xuyên District, northern Vĩnh Phúc Province, to help with the fight against the acute respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus (COVID- 一 九), the provincial Health Department said.

They have been trained in screening, diagnosis and prevention of the COVID- 一 九 epidemic to help health workers and residents in Bình Xuyên District, which is the hotspot of COVID- 一 九, improve its ability to prevent and fight the disease.

They will work round-the-clock from February  一 三, assisting in zoning off high-risk areas and environmental hygiene, as well as medical treatment.

On Thursday, the province had confirmed  一 一 cases, including nine in Bình Xuyên District.

From February  一 三, the province has zoned off and quarantined affected areas in Sơn Lôi Co妹妹une, Bình Xuyên District, for  二0 days.

Eight stations will be set up on roads to and from Sơn Lôi Co妹妹une to prevent the virus from spreading. — VNS
